Xbox Game Pass Reveals New PC/Xbox One Titles Being Added, As Well As Disney+ And EA Play

by Rainier on Nov. 10, 2020 @ 12:54 p.m. PST

Xbox Series X is Microsoft's fastest, most powerful console ever and set a new bar for performance, speed and compatibility, allowing you to bring your gaming legacy, thousands of games from three generations and more forward with you.

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's digital gaming subscription service that gives you unlimited access to over dozens of Xbox One, PC, and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games for $9.99 USD per month.

With Xbox Game Pass, you can download and play a broad range of games in full fidelity on your Xbox One.

Each month, Xbox Game Pass will add a new set of games to the catalog so there is always something new to play across a diversity of experiences, genres, ratings and more. For gamers, this means endless play of full-fidelity gaming experiences without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues.

EA Play Coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 15

This one isn’t a single game but a whole Play List of them for you PC players – coming December 15, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC members will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs via the EA Desktop app currently in beta! If you’ve ever wanted to be a Jedi, ride around in a Titan, or join the Inquisition, now’s your time to shine (ok that was a pretty bad Bejeweled joke, even for me).

“We want players to access the games and in-game benefits they want, in the easiest way possible,” said Autumn Brown Sr. Director, Content Strategy and Partnerships, Electronic Arts. “This partnership with Xbox makes an impressive library of great Xbox and EA content more readily accessible. Our goal is to give players more choice to get more of what they love, and this is a way to do that.“

We’re all excited about EA Play coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC at no additional cost. It’s another huge library of games for you to play, so my apologies for all the time you’re going to spend updating your ordered play list (for those of you who are far more organized in your play time than me!).

EA Play Available on Xbox consoles with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Tomorrow

Starting November 10, EA Play will be available on Xbox consoles as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost! EA Play is bringing more than 60 of EA’s biggest and best games like FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Speed Heat, as well as some of EA’s most popular franchises like Battlefield, Mass Effect, Skate, and The Sims.

Select EA Play Games Available on Android via Cloud Gaming

We’re also adding these games to the growing list of titles available on Android via cloud gaming – they’ll be available beginning November 10:

  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • Madden NFL 20
  • Mass Effect: Andromeda
  • Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
  • The Sims 4
  • Unravel 2

So, get your Android devices ready to play. I’ll be shouting, “For the Inquisition!” right alongside you!

River City Girls (Android, Console & PC) ID@Xbox November 19
In this all-new entry in the legendary beat-’em-up series, hot-blooded heroes Kunio and Riki have been captured, leaving it to their hard-hitting girlfriends, Kyoko and Misako, to serve up some payback. As you punch and kick your way across town – either solo or with a friend in local co-op – you’ll gain new skills, chow down on power-ups, wield an assortment of weapons, and unleash an arsenal of combos, throws, and special attacks that will leave the bad guys crying for mama – all in outrageous 16-bit style! The awesome action is punctuated by manga story panels, anime cutscenes, and an epic synth-pop soundtrack. It’s an old-school rumble for a new generation!

Star Renegades (Android & Console) ID@Xbox – November 19
Star Renegades is a strategy RPG about outsmarting AI-driven adversaries, forging friendships, and toppling galactic empires spanning over multiple generations. Fusing a reactive, tactical turn-based battle system that emphasizes interrupts and counters, with a procedurally generated and emergent mission-based campaign and an intelligent Adversary system with enemy officers that evolve and move up in the ranks, every playthrough is unique, challenging, and never the same.
