Keeping with the best traditions of the series, World of Warships will offer a straightforward interface, easy-to-use controls, and a common economic system that will allow players to distribute resources between the three games for the ultimate progress in each of them.
The large assortment of available warships will give various tactical opportunities, as all the machines have a unique combination of firepower, speed, armor, and endurance. Various naval maps with changing weather conditions will enrich the gameplay, and the realistic graphics will transport players into the epic battles that changed the course of human history.
World of Warships and Verizon are excited to announce the Verizon Warrior’s Championship – a special Clan battles season tournament with a grand prize pool of $30,000, and an exhibition tournament featuring veterans and service members of US military branches competing to support their charity of choice.
Players from all realms are invited to participate in the Verizon Warrior’s Championship and compete for the grand prize. Qualifications will run from November 27 – 29, while the Playoffs will take place on December 5 – 6, 2020. To compete in this event, players will join the World of Warships special Clan battles seasons and, if they place among the top four teams on their server, will be invited to participate in the tournament. The third-place team will receive $5,000, second place will receive $10,000 and first place will receive $15,000.
The exhibition tournament aims to gather players from each branch of the US Military to compete for a $30,000 prize pool that will be donated to the charity of their choice. The tournament will take place December 5th, beginning 1:00 p.m. EST, and December 6th, beginning at 11:30 a.m. EST.
Four teams will be formed: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force. Each team will include veterans and active-duty members from the following branches:
The 1st place selects the charity to receive $15,000, 2nd place selects the charity to receive $7,000, 3rd place selects the charity to receive $5,000 and 4th place selects the charity to receive $3,000. In addition to supporting their favorite charities, each selected veteran will receive (1) Super Container, (1)Tournament patch and (1)World of Warships t-shirt just for participating.
