Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action-platformer that boasts rogue-like features such as everchanging and challenging maps. It will keep you on your toes, as you will never know what to expect.

The human race attacking the Demon King's castle is nothing new and has happened countless times before. What makes this time different though, is that the Adventurers decided to join forces with the Imperial Army and the 'Hero of Caerleon' to lead a full onslaught in hopes of wiping out the Demons once and for all. They attacked the Demon stronghold with overwhelming numbers and succeeded in its total destruction. All of the demons in the castle were taken prisoner except for one lone skeleton named 'Skul'.

Featuring dazzling pixel-art graphics and fluid, fast-paced gameplay, Skul follows the tale of a diminutive, yet powerful, skeleton burdened with saving his King from captivity. In his path stands the dastardly Caerleon Empire, and a famed group of Adventurers who yearn for nothing more than to vanquish Skul and his Demon brethren. Facing great odds and even greater foes, players will use Skul’s unique ability to swap skulls and transform into one of more than 20 unique playable characters, unlocking a plethora of devastating attack combos and abilities, and creating new challenges with every playthrough.

Since starting Early Access on Steam in February, Skul has amassed over 7k reviews with an overall rating of 93%. The game has also seen frequent updates during that time, but the 1.0 patch will be the biggest addition by far. Not only will it bring with it the final two chapters and cutscenes to complete Skul’s story, but will also feature 50+ new playable characters thanks to the new upgrade system.

The 1.0 patch will be pretty massive and completely transform the game.”

Skul is available now on Steam Early Access and will be 20% off at launch. 

Skul is no ordinary skeleton. In addition to his formidable fighting skills, he can gain new and exciting abilities depending on which skull he's wearing. Use up to 2 skulls at a time, each of which has its own unique attack range, speed and power. Choose combos that match your playing style and switch them in the heat of battle to bring your enemies to their knees. The power is in your hands!

Skul: The Hero Slayer is slated for full release on PC in January 21, 2021, followed by PS4, Xbox and the Switch in early 2021.
