Find your lost friend in a house that holds unimaginable secrets.
The game's story is about three friends that after a sudden white flash on the road got into an accident. Their car crashed. One of them vanishes. Then, the other two decide to leave for a mansion in the forest in search for their lost friend and, at the same time, they need to stay alive by running away from a sinister creature that inhabits the place.
Something unusual happened in that house that resonates around the there as a kind of eternal curse. Bad things happened. Love has always been blamed for everything.
It is up to the player to put the pieces of this dark puzzle together and find out what is the thread that unites the accident, the strange creature, murders and the history of the house itself.
The opening video of the horror game Hidden Shelter is released, which presents the characters of the game and what happens in the first moment of the story.
“It is quite an experience to create a game. Making the Hidden Shelter has been incredible. We are learning a lot. We want to be able to tell a complex story through a simple premise. It's a challenge. We hope people can have fun. This video shows a little of who are these ordinary people that got trapped in this sinister situation ”, says Renan Barreto, creative director of the game and author of the story.
In addition to Renan, the project has programmer Tiago Neri. “We share our tasks a lot and work on them whenever we have the time.We do everything, creating the art design, mapping, recording the lines, editing, programming and etc. It is a lot of work, but I believe that it’s necessary to invest everything of yourself in a project like this. I hope people have fun ”, says Tiago.
Hidden Shelter is under development on the Unreal Engine 4 for PC (Steam), scheduled for January 2021.
