One Step From Eden is a brand of roguelike that mixes deckbuilding mechanics and real-time action.

In One Step From Eden players jump into a war-torn landscape and fight their way to Eden using an ever expanding deck of spells. Blazing fast combat and strategic deckbuilding make for a one of a kind experience.

The game is centered around relentless real-time grid combat. Cast powerful spells on the fly, battle evolving enemies, find game-changing artifacts, make friends or make enemies, just make it to Eden.

“I felt a Megaman Battle Network sized void that no other game could fill, so I decided to make one myself. I was also a huge fan of Faster than Light, Nuclear Throne, and other roguelikes. The deckbuilding mechanics ended up working really well after figuring out a prototype that would let players use cards in realtime.”

Key Features:

  • Deckbuilding with 200+ spells & 100+ game-changing items
  • Action deckbuilding, a blend of bullet hell action and card game strategy
  • 8+ Playable Characters and Bosses
  • Alternate runs and endings
  • Unique evolving enemies that get ingeniously more difficult
  • Procedurally generated worlds and battles
  • Full Original Soundtrack
  • Local co-op and PvP
  • Full controller and keyboard & mouse support
  • Steam Workshop & mod support

One Step From Eden will be launching got PC and Switch on March 26, 2020.
