10 years after the release of the previous console game, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions brings a refreshing look to the football genre with the exhilarating action and over the top shots that made the license famous.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions features anime-like graphics and accessible gameplay, while offering multiple game modes to keep the football fan on the pitch and off the bench!

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions immerses players in a fantastic anime portrayal of the world of professional soccer. Players will be able to execute an array of powerful offensive and defensive super moves as they battle powerful soccer teams. The game will feature multiple gameplay modes including Story Modes, Versus Mode, and Online Versus Mode.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will feature a story mode allowing players to relive the iconic story of Tsubasa Ozora, the Tsubasa Episode.

This story mode will cover the whole National Middle School Tournament and include some of the most epic matches of the original material. The Tachibana twins, Hikaru Matsuyama, Kojiro Hyuga and many more of Tsubasa’s greatest rivals are set to appear in the game, bringing their best  moves to the field!

Depending on the score and match flow, special cutscenes may be triggered, either precisely retracing the story or allowing for some brand new surprises.
