'Shing!' (ALL) Closed PC Beta Starts Today - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Feb. 4, 2020 @ 8:16 a.m. PST

Shing! brings back the arcade beat 'em up gameplay and supercharges it with crazy stylish action and intuitive stick-based controls.

Free-flowing combos, outstanding mobility, parries, counters, aerial combat and the ability to instantly switch between 4 playable characters make Shing! a real treat for any sidescrolling beat’em’up fan.

Take control of four Yokai hunters – deadly warriors tasked with defending the realm from a sudden onslaught of mythical beasts . While trying to recover the legendary Starseed, they will trek through crowded cities bathed in neon light, ash-covered ruins of ancient civilizations, noxious swamps covered in mist and many other exotic locations.

Band together in 4 player local and on-line co-op to slice up a horde of bloodthirsty demons, overcome epic bosses and master the most exciting and immersive beat-em-up combat system ever!

The PC closed beta for Shing! is now live on Steam. The beta features the game’s first two levels, two boss battles, a tutorial, and local co-op for up to four players.

Players can sign-up for a chance to join closed beta on the Shing! Discord.

Those selected will receive a free Steam key, plus a bonus key for a friend (which will carry over through launch). Additional content, including new enemies, bonus modes and online co-op, will roll out over time leading up to launch. Players who sign up and are not chosen for closed beta will be eligible for a promotional Steam coupon offering Shing! for 50% off at release.

Shing! will be available on PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Q2 2020.
