'SnowRunner' (ALL) Community Have Already Created Dozens Of Mods - Trailer

by Rainier on May 13, 2020 @ 8:17 a.m. PDT

SnowRunner once again dares players to take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles across extreme landscapes.

Teased previously as MudRunner 2, SnowRunner is the ultimate off-road experience, made bigger and better with stunning visuals, advanced simulation physics, massive maps and vehicles, and the introduction of snowy terrain.

The sequel puts players back in the driver seat, daring them to take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles, venturing across extreme landscapes with only a map and compass as guides!

Your driving skills are needed! Create and expand your transportation company by taking on brand new industries and establishing your own supply networks. Provide goods and services to your clients from the frozen depths of Siberia to the rocky heights of Michigan.

To help you in your task, drive a huge roster of enormous customizable vehicles including some of the most iconic trucks from manufacturers like Pacific, Navistar, and more. Gear up your rigs to overcome muddy terrain, raging rivers and other obstacles that realistically react to the weight and movement of your vehicle, powered by the new game's advanced physics engine. Uncover new, untamed terrains in extreme conditions, each with their own challenges, and discover the most optimal path for your chosen vehicle to deliver your goods safely.

Complete and unlock different types of contracts, obtain additional vehicles, access new add-ons and customization options as you progress. SnowRunnercan be played solo or with friends in fully synchronous 4-player co-op. PC players can expect full mod support at launch, allowing for near infinite off-road experiences created by the community. Mod support for consoles is also in development.

The official partnership with Mod.io is in full-swing, and you can already download dozens of mods created by eager community members to enhance your game with new vehicles, harder and more realistic driving, system changes, crazy (and unexpected) creations - and much more besides. Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive are delighted with the offering so far, and excited to see more in the future.

Maps, missions and interiors will be also moddable soon.

Modding will continue to expand in the future. Free updates to the tools available will allow for map, mission, and interior modding coming with the first phase of the Season Pass. Plus, we’ll be launching and supporting mods on consoles in the future, allowing players on every platform to enrich their experience however they like.

The SnowRunner Season Pass is also available to purchase now, promising a full year of content updates with new vehicles, new maps, new missions, and much, much more.
