Genshin Impact is an open-world ARPG title, set in the fantasy world of Teyvat, which offers a freely explorable world, multiple characters, an in-depth elemental combo based combat system and an engaging story.
A mysterious figure referred to as “The Traveler”, players will embark on a journey of finding their long-lost sibling to piece together their own mystery, while revealing Teyvat’s numerous secrets.
Joined by a lively companion called Paimon, players will explore the land filled with varied landscapes, culturally – diverse towns, and treacherous dungeons. By mastering the power of the seven elements with a custom party of up to 4 characters, players will overcome merciless foes and fiendish puzzles.
Genshin Impact's Final Closed Beta will bring the stunning world of Teyvat, with all the action, exploration, and challenges it has to offer, to PS4 users for the very first time.
Also making its official debut in the Final Closed Beta is a cross-platform co-op mode, which will allow players on PS4, PC and mobile platforms to team up and take on all kinds exhilarating dungeon challenges, open-world explorations and enemies together, with the added strength that teamwork and destructive elemental interactions bring to the table.
The final Genshin Impact Closed Beta will be available in Q3 of 2020, but interested fans can already sign up on the official website.
"We are thrilled to see that players all around the world had a blast in Genshin Impact's last Closed Beta while offering valuable feedback on various aspects of the game. We plan to implement some changes and optimizations in the Final Closed Beta based on what we have heard and learned," said Hugh Tsai, Genshin Impact's producer. "The cross-platform co-op mode is an important component of Genshin Impact, and it will be a core part of the Final Closed Beta experience. We are very excited to see how players react to the team-oriented gameplay."
Genshin Impact is in development for PS4, PC, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, with a release date to be announced at a later time.
