Evergate is a 2D puzzle-platformer featuring a unique align-to-shoot mechanic. Unleash your Soulflame and harness energy trapped within crystals to solve puzzles, find lost memories, and save your kindred spirit.

Evergate blends cerebral puzzles with skill-based execution. The goal of each puzzle is to reach the gate at the end however you can. Some players may opt for a straightforward route while others will strive for the more difficult, complete solution to unlock power-ups. This offers challenges for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Players guide a child-like soul named Ki on her journey through the Afterlife. Discover her past across lifetimes and her connection with her Kindred Spirit. Help save the Afterlife by channeling her power into her Soulflame.

Slow down time, take aim and unleash the mysterious power hidden within every crystal you encounter with the unique Soulflame mechanic. You can hit multiple crystals at once to experiment with how their energies combine and overcome each challenge according to your own play-style.

Rise up to the challenge and collect the essences by completing challenges on every level. Use them to unlock ancient artefacts and boost Ki’s abilities.

Dive into the touching story of two kindred spirits, guiding the child-like soul Ki on a journey through a beautiful and haunting afterlife. Reveal the memories of a life left behind, moving across time and space to uncover Ki's mysterious connection to another soul.

Gorgeous environmental backdrops are paired with beautifully hand-drawn illustrations, bringing both Ki herself and Evergate’s environments to life through a dream-like art style. An elegantly orchestrated original soundtrack provides an enchanting backdrop to Ki's journey, recorded by a live orchestra and tailor-made for each environment.

When Evergate composer Mike Miller's daughter was born, he wrote a lullaby for her and even made a music box for it.

Now, two years on, the lullaby has evolved to become one of the central pieces of music in Evergate. Inspired in equal parts by Evergate's main character Ki and by Mike's daughter, it will be one of the first pieces of music you hear in the game.
