Through the skillful mixture of farm simulation and role-playing, players lead their own farm to success and at the same time experience a gripping story that invites them to continue playing and relax while enjoying the sweet farm life.

But all beginnings are difficult, especially as a city kid who only knows the farm from childhood memories and on top of that the grandfather is missing. As you arrive on your grandpa's farm, you find it in an awful condition. Buildings are crumbled and fields overgrown. The farm is abandoned and your grandfather has disappeared without a trace. Roll up your sleeves and grab your watering can. It’s now your time to step up your farming skills and restore the farm of your childhood dreams. Search for your grandfather's tracks and take the chance to write your own story!

Young farmers must take their first steps by cleaning up the farm after a heavy storm and gradually learn to rebuild and maintain it in order to find their missing family member.

Luckily, there are helpful neighbors who can assist these young farmers with their first attempts at growing wild flowers, carrots and potatoes before they have to tackle more complicated harvesting procedures.

Of course, it is not only the harvest that is important, the field products must also be processed into animal feed and sold. Hundreds of plant species and animals are just waiting to be planted or tended to by the players in Big Farm Story - right down to finding names for each individual animal, which develops different characteristics and wants to be petted. Players will have to keep an eye on the farm's resources and use their entrepreneurial skills to get the best price for their produce at the market or from your neighbors. The farmhouse can also be redecorated with different furniture and new rooms can be added - so there is always something to do. The four changing seasons and the dynamic day and night rhythm provide additional variety.

Big Farm Story is coming to Steam Early Access on August 20, 2020, which will also grant you a premium Starter Pack.
