NVIDIA Adds 11 Titles To GeForce NOW, Syncs With Steam And More

by Rainier on July 30, 2020 @ 6:00 a.m. PDT

GeForce NOW taps into the thriving PC gaming ecosystem by streaming games from NVIDIA GPUs in the cloud, adding 11 new titles to GeForce NOW.

When you fire up your favorite game, you’re playing it instantly. That’s what it means to be Game Ready on GeForce NOW. The experience has been optimized for cloud gaming and includes Game Ready Driver performance improvements. NVIDIA manages the game updates and patches. And when a game supports RTX, it includes beautifully ray-traced graphics and DLSS 2.0.

Let it Sync In

If you’re anything like us, you have hundreds of games in your Steam library. Trying to find those games in GeForce NOW just got a little easier.

Members can now sync their Steam libraries to GeForce NOW by going to Settings > Game Sync. This feature will identify games in your Steam library that are supported by GeForce NOW and automatically add them to “My Library” within the app.

Once your Steam account is authorized, you can update your GeForce NOW library from Settings > Game Sync every time you purchase a new Steam game. It’s the easiest way to keep your games catalog up-to-date in the GeForce NOW app.

We Always Have Your Six

We’ve all been there: you’re telling the story about the heroic round where you breached through to the opposing team and quickly took down the remaining two operators in an epic solo victory, but your friends don’t believe you. With NVIDIA Highlights, you’ll have all the proof you need.

Rainbow Six Siege is the newest addition to the NVIDIA Highlights lineup, using our smart pattern and image recognition technology running in the cloud to capture every epic in-game moment as they happen. Ubisoft’s tactical FPS is filled with those moments, and now GeForce NOW members can record and share every takedown and dramatic win with ease.

Rainbow Six Siege is the latest in an ever-growing list of supported NVIDIA Highlights titles, and we’re excited to help our members use gameplay clips to earn bragging rights. The full list of NVIDIA Highlights-enabled games can be found here, and we’ll have support for more games in the future.

Next Level Network Performance

ASUS and NVIDIA have teamed up to deliver low-latency game streaming to devices connected to the new RT-AX86U, a GeForce NOW Recommended router. For wired gaming devices, one of the LAN ports on RT-AX86U is also a dedicated Gaming Port that prioritizes any wired device connected to it. The RT-AX86U is optimized for the very best cloud gaming experience. Open NAT takes the complexity out of port forwarding with an easy three-step configuration process. Adaptive QoS can be configured to prioritize traffic from different kinds of apps, including games, so network bottlenecks become a thing of the past.
