All stories and content, and especially the fan-favorite epic battles with their huge number of enemies, will be included in this free-to-play release.

Players of PSO2 become a member of a research expedition called "Arks," which belong to a fleet of interplanetary cruising ships, setting out to a research a variety of different planets. Visiting places for the mission (quest) always evolves into a fresh and surprising adventure, including auto-generated maps, sudden events, and a Multiplayer Party Area, where up to 12 players can play together simultaneously. 

Each planet and quest is an encounter with different characters and battles with enemies. Its easy control systems allow for intense exhilaration in battles as well as highly strategic and customizable actions.

Gigantic boss enemies are also waiting for their time to challenge you with their towering body that covers the whole screen. Team up with other players against epic bosses!

Starting today, costumes, hair styles, paint, accessories, room items, music and more from Persona 3, 4, 5 will be featured in the latest AC Scratch Ticket collection. Also, two special live events are scheduled. 

The worlds of two games collide! PSO2 Players can don costumes and hairstyles, perform emotes, decorate their rooms with new items, play iconic music tracks and get new pets from the Persona collection. Drawing an AC Scratch Ticket offers a chance to obtain these items and more.

Players will recognize in-game items from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5.

The "Persona" series is a derivative work of the legendary JRPG "Shin Megami Tensei" series, which was released in Japan in 1992. In recent years, "Persona 4 Golden", "Persona 5" and many other titles in the series have also been released.

There are several types of Scratch Tickets depending on the currency used, including ARKS Cash (AC), Star Gems (SG), and FUN Points. By purchasing AC Scratch Tickets, players have a chance to obtain special items, including outfits, accessories, and enhancement items!

Also, to celebrate surpassing one million players across all platforms, the "One Million ARKS Celebration" will be happening Aug. 19th – Aug. 26th. For a limited time, EXP, Rare Drop, and Rare Enemy Spawn Rates will all be increased +100%! What's more, all players will have the opportunity to receive up to 2 Million EXP through EXP Tickets.

The entire game will be made available as a F2P experience for players on Xbox One. There will be no limitations on game experiences such as Class Level cap or direct purchase of high-tier weapons because we want to provide all players with a fair and exciting experience.

The North American version of Phantasy Star Online 2 includes fully localized text and character voices in English, spanning three years of content. In addition to the immersive original PSO2 story, the NA version also features the most-up-to-date balancing and quality-of-life improvements from the Japanese service. Players can choose from four races and nine classes while tackling various missions. They can also take a break from questing by playing one of the many Casino mini-games, chilling in the Alliance Quarters, competing in the new ARKS League or attending all-new live stage events. And for the first time they will be able to do all of this with friends on both PC and Xbox One thanks to cross-platform play.
