'Dandy Ace' (ALL) Launches Kickstarter Campaign, Playable PC Demo - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 25, 2020 @ 8:51 a.m. PDT

Dandy Ace is an over the top action game that follows this fabulous magician seeking to combine and use his magical cards, fighting and looting his way to defeat the Green-Eyed Illusionist and free himself from a cursed mirror.

Part Action/RPG and part roguelite, Dandy Ace’s core mechanic is in its extremely flexible skill system. Based on the magic cards that Ace has up his sleeve, the combination and powers of the skills can change depending on the equipped order. Each time Ace journeys into the Cursed Mirror, trapped there by the evil Green-Eyed Magician Lele, the player has a different selection to choose from, enabling countless possibilities for different builds and playstyles.

While battling your way through Lele’s ever changing palace, combine different cards with more than a thousand possibilities, each with their own playstyles and powers. Every run provides new challenges and combinations for players to explore as they progress closer to Lele.

Play as Dandy Ace, the amazing hero, and survive the challenges of the extravagant, lavish and ever changing palace created to defeat him filled with bizarre creatures and outrageous bosses. Find all of the magical cards, gather shards and gold, and get help from his assistants and unconventional allies.

The No More Heroes developer Mad Mimic has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Dandy Ace, looking to raise a modest $25K, with which Mad Mimic hopes to add even more content to the game.

“Dandy Ace is almost complete, but we want it to be even bigger and better when we launch in 2021.” said Mad Mimic’s Luis Sampero. “We want to add more bosses, more enemies, more spells, and just… MORE of everything. We can release the game now, but to make Ace his absolute best, we need your help.”

Mad Mimic will also be bringing Dandy Ace to Gamescom 2020 thanks to an invite from Neowiz, where players can get a look at the game’s demo, features, and more.

Play the Dandy Ace demo on Steam.
