by Rainier on Sept. 21, 2020 @ 12:17 p.m. PDT

Microsoft announced that the new Xbox app (beta) is rolling out on Android, alongside new Xbox accessories available beginning Nov. 10, 2020.

Available in beta on Android today, the new Xbox app will make it easier for all gamers to stay connected to their friends, games and fun, at home or on the go, no matter what device they prefer to play on. This update marks the next step in our journey to deliver you a unified Xbox experience across devices that Chris Novak, Head of Xbox Research and Design, shared last month. The next Xbox app (beta) is coming to all Xbox supported markets, and all gamers are invited to download and check it out beginning today. Fans can download the app from the Google Play Store now.
