The journey begins with creating a team of four explorers, selecting their race, class, background story, rolling for abilities and personal stats. Players will journey through the mystical realms of Solasta, unraveling a story that spans multiple worlds.

The dynamic and mysterious world of Solasta features brand new elements of verticality, allowing players to use their surroundings as an element of strategy. Position ranged characters on high vantage points or send your thief down into shafts and caverns to scope out what’s ahead. Utilize light as a tool to explore the depths and hollows of dungeons or use it as a weapon against the creatures of the dark. Solasta is a unique team-based adventure where each character plays a critical role in the campaign and can be a hero. Players must take advantage of each character’s strengths and weaknesses if they are to succeed.

Players will have the opportunity to get in on the adventure before it even starts when Tactical Adventures launches its Kickstarter campaign at the end of summer. Players will be able to back Solasta: Crown of the Magister on Kickstarter and link arms with the developers, joining the Solasta community and being rewarded for doing so!

Tactical Adventures celebrates the one-year anniversary of its tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister by announcing that the first DLC - Primal Calling - will be available on November 4, 2021.

This new DLC features a new Half-Orc ancestry, two additional Barbarian and Druid classes, and an original two-hour “Wanderer” quest. Tactical Adventures will also be releasing a free update to the game that increases the level cap to 12, more character personalization options, and several upgrades and new features to the Dungeon Maker tool. Additionally Solasta: Crown of the Magister launches on Mac, November 4.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister Primal Calling DLC will feature the new Half-Orc ancestry as well as two new playable classes. The first is the Druid that features three subclasses: the Circle of Land, Circle of Kindred Spirit, and Circle of Winds. The second class is the Barbarian with the following subclasses: the Path of Berserker, Path of Magebane, and Path of Stone. Primal Calling will also feature a new Wanderer background and a completely original two-hour quest. 

In addition to all the DLC content from Primal Calling, free downloadable content will also release on November 4 for all players that own Solasta. This free content update will increase the Level Cap enabling characters to increase power and spells up to level 12 and add more character personalization including tattoos and scars. More environments have been added to the updated Dungeon Maker including town outdoors and indoors. Finally, a new Dungeon Maker Campaign Creator mode will be available and feature a new Campaign Creator, with custom items, custom monsters, dialogue and banter options, and NPC merchants.

Key Features:

• Verticality: Solasta is a three-dimensional world rather than a series of flat maps. Locations can be explored by climbing walls, flying, teleporting, crawling through tunnels, finding secret passages, or falling through unstable ground, and allow the player to use the environment to take on encounters in multiple different ways.
• Team Based Adventure: Players will have many options to choose races, classes, backgrounds, and can even roll for stats as they create their party. All members are essential - together you will adventure through Solasta as a group, where you must work together in pursuit of your quest.
• Tactical CRPG: Each encounter can be handled in multiple ways. Will you use the high ground to strike your enemies from above as a Darkweaver Rogue, or shove your enemies into deep chasms as a Mountaineer Fighter? Your choices alone will determine the destiny of your party.
• Light: Light will not only help to see your surroundings as you explore deep underground or in a dungeon. It can also be used as a weapon against dragons and creatures you encounter along your journey. Careful, though - light can also give away your position.

Wizards of the Coast has granted developer Tactical Adventures a license to use the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 content and rules in their upcoming tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
