Arc System Works revealed that the release version of Guilty Gear -Strive- will use rollback netcode for online play. Please note that the rollback implementation is still being developed so the upcoming closed beta will be using a delay-based implementation.
Guilty Gear -Strive- is having a new release date and will now be available on 11th June, 2021.
The added time will allow Arc System Works to continue working on delivering the best experience possible for players by polishing some aspects of the game, such as online lobbies and server stability.
Pre-orders for the game are available on the PlayStation Store and on PC. Owners of the PS4 version will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free.
Early Access will have 13 out of 15 characters playable. For the Story mode, only the prologue will be available before the release. During the Early Access, online modes will not be available.
The latest chapter in the Guilty Gear franchise will finally land in the hands of fighting game fans on June 11, 2021 for the PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam) for $59.99, with the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition available on June 8, 2021.
