With more realistic gameplay and the chance to play as the biggest tennis stars in world-famous competitions, Tennis World Tour 2 sets the benchmark for tennis games.

In Tennis World Tour 2, fans can experience a realistic tennis game that captures all the sport's unique characteristics and competitiveness. Using feedback from a fan community comprising some 700,000 gamers, many aspects of the game have been redesigned from the ground up. This includes faster gameplay that puts players' skills and nerves to the test. More animations have also been added, which improves the game's realism and fluidity.

Big Ant studio also wanted to offer more diverse content for this new game in the series by adding doubles tennis and a new competition that tennis players will be very familiar with: Tie Break Tens. This format consists of short matches where the winner is the first to reach 10 points, ideal for when you want to play intense matches and a quick series of games.

With more realistic gameplay and the chance to play as the biggest tennis stars in world-famous competitions, Tennis World Tour 2 is a simulation made to please both tennis fans and demanding gamers.

Roland-Garros (FFT) and BNP Paribas are pleased to announce the organization of the Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas Grand Final 2021 within the legendary Philippe-Chatrier court. The eight finalists - who hail from Germany, Belgium, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain and the UK - will take part in an esport workshop on Friday May 28th before contesting the Grand Final on Saturday May 29th.

The event, which will crown the 2021 International eTennis Champion, benefits from the support of the MCES Team, one of the leading French esport clubs.

The competition, played on the video game Tennis World Tour 2 on PS4, has levelled up this year with seven qualifying stages taking place from mid-April involving students from international esport schools and universities.

Also open to the general public, the online We Are Tennis tournament was won by Alexandre Lepine, who claimed the last available slot in the Grand Final and will now take on the seven rising esport talents - already qualified - at Roland-Garros.

The draw for the Grand Final was conducted by Gaël Monfils and Rivenzi during the first live show of the Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas 2021, live streamed on Gaël Monfils Twitch channel on April 27th (catch the highlights here).

The Grand Final will kick off with the following quarter-final ties:

The Grand Final will be held in the heart of Roland-Garros on Saturday May 29th in the Philippe-Chatrier court’s VIP areas.

The two players reaching the final will share the €5,000 prize money, but only the winner will be invited for tests at HumanFab, a research laboratory for physical preparation for top-level sport and esport athletes, and for an intensive 1-week bootcamp at the Team MCES’ Gaming Center in Marseille, starting on May 31st.

As of this year, Roland-Garros eSeries by BNP Paribas will combine education and competition, becoming a launchpad towards a career in esport, thanks in no small part to the support of Team MCES, one of France’s leading esport clubs.

Team MCES will share its expertise and valuable advice through its Chairman and founder Romain Sombret and General Manager Esport Julien Millet.

Sabri Lalileche, the Gaming Squad’s cofounder, will explain the role of his gaming and ethical social network within the esport ecosystem while making the 8 qualifiers aware of feminization, cyber harassment and online discrimination in the gaming world. They will also receive some invaluable media training in a workshop led by the journalist Barbara Klein, the host of the official Roland-Garros podcast.
