The top-ranked EA SPORTS FIFA teams from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands will compete in the Nordic Masters 2021 on Tuesday, June 8 to compete for the title of Nordic Masters. The tournament will feature some of the best esports teams at EA SPORTS FIFA, including FC Copenhagen (eSuperliga), PSV Eindhoven (eDivisie), FC Haka (eFutisliiga) and IFK Göteborg (eAllsvenskan). The winner of Nordic Masters 2021 will take home the title and $10,000 USD.
The Nordic Masters 2021 event — which will take place at the eSuperliga Studio in Copenhagen — will be produced and broadcast by DreamHack Sports Games (DHSG), a global leader in producing esports tournaments for traditional sports leagues and properties.
“We are so happy to have the Nordic Masters return this year to feature some of the best EA SPORTS FIFA teams,” said DreamHack Sports Games CEO Roger Lodewick. “We brought the first Nordic Masters to life in 2019, so to bring this event back to our community this year is a tremendous moment for all.”

Broadcast Details
- Four clubs invited — one from each league
- Two players per club
- A game consists of two matches (one on PlayStation and one on Xbox)
- Winners of the coin toss can decide between order of consoles or home/away
- Away-goal rules apply
- If a game ends as a tie, the second match will proceed into extra time, and ultimately penalty shoot-out
- The Grand Final will be played without the away-goal rule and as a best-of-3
- All games will be played on the classic stage known from eAllsvenskan, edivisie and eSuperliga
- An international feed with English commentary will be broadcast live on DreamHack Sports Games YouTube and Twitch channels
- Local leagues’ Twitch channels will co-host the stream; eAllsvenskan, eDivisie, eFutisliiga and eSuperliga
