The Sporting Champions campaign provides the opportunity for gamers to make an impact by purchasing sports themed video games via a Steam sale - proceeds from which will help fund the charity's work in protecting, educating and standing up for the rights of children caught up in conflict.
By supporting the Sporting Champions campaign you can make a difference and help to ensure that these children have the chance for a better future. Sporting Champions will hold several discounts on sport titles on Steam, and also livestreams from several Twitch streamers. Further detail about the livestreams can be found on the Sporting Champions Tiltify page.
“Following on from last year’s successful Sporting Champions fundraiser, this year’s event includes a new list of games that gamers can try out at a discount as well as help raise funds to aid the young lives of many.” said David Miller, Head of Gaming Partnerships, War Child UK. “Sport is something that brings many people together and is considered to be a universal language, which makes the Sporting Champions campaign and its games on offer apt for bringing gamers together to support via the Steam sale and charity streams.”
Titles that will be featured in the War Child UK Steam sale include; Glitchers’ Drive Buy, No More Robots’Descenders, Team 17’s Worms Crazy Golf, Pixel Maniacs’ Can’t Drive This, Grizzly Games’ Superflight and Devolver’s Minit Racer.
