Elyon takes place in a high fantasy steampunk world where machines and magic rule and everyone is dependent on flight to explore, travel, and conquer. In search of a new home, adventurers take to the skies using a wide selection of airships, vehicles, and flying mounts to traverse Elyon’s open, highly vertical world.

Vehicles and mounts in Elyon serve more than just the purpose of transportation; they will also provide adventurers with the ultimate battle experience― Elyon’s Realm vs Realm PvP mode. In RvR, factions fight for fame and glory, taking turns to lead offensive and defensive efforts using all kinds of flying vehicles. Players can also join the fight from the ground with mechs and anti-air artillery to fight airborne threats―or initiate ground based aerial attacks depending on the map and strategy. Various strategic weapons such as cannons, mines, and attack buffs are at each faction’s disposal to tip the balance in their favour. The combination of ground-based and aerial combat makes each fight challenging and dynamic.

Most of Elyon’s content is highly customizable, allowing players to tailor detailed aspects of their play experience and unleash their creativity. An airship, for instance, can have its type, appearance, color, and performance modified. Players can even create their own quests, alter their hunting grounds, and change the difficulty when battling monsters in dungeons or hunting areas.

Kakao Games has launched the 2nd Closed Beta (CBT2) for Elyon, which will run from August 18-23 ahead of its Fall 2021 release in North America, Europe and Oceania. 

CBT2 participants can expect a build more closely aligned with its Korean counterpart, with features not available in CBT1. Some of those features include the addition of the powerful Slayer Class, updated Mana Awakening skills, improved game service platform and infrastructure for Western market players, easier leveling, solo and multiplayer dungeon play, and more. 

In celebration of the CBT2 debut, Kakao Games has also established a series of Twitch Drops, which those who have not yet applied can use to gain access to CBT2 directly. Players who link a Kakao Games account with their Twitch account and participate in Elyon streams will receive: 

• CBT2 Access after 1 hour of viewing (CBT2 only)
• Chick (Pet) after 3 hours of viewing (CBT2 only)
• 3,000 + 100 Ruby Box after 5 hours of viewing (CBT2 only)
• Jet Board A mount after 7 hours of viewing (for official launch)

Amongst the events prepared for CBT2 will be a character customization contest, the winners of which will see their designs added as presets on the character creation screen.
