Darkest Dungeon II is a loving interpretation of the game’s signature style in 3D, with hand-drawn textures, bringing more life to the characters and amp up the fx, while preserving the classic DD combat presentation.
The basic configuration of 4 heroes/4 monsters and two trinkets per hero is still true, but there have been significant changes to the base mechanics, stats, and so on.
Darkest Dungeon II will be coming available in Early Access exclusive to the Epic Games Store on October 26, 2021.
The final v1.0 version will release on other PC storefronts.
Darkest Dungeon II will once again be narrated by Wayne June, while music is being composed by Darkest Dungeon 1's Stuart Chatwood.
