Unlike any other trucking experience, Truck Driver is completely focused on the career mode. By valuing the ‘game’ aspects over the ‘simulation’ aspects, SOEDESCO aspires to bring the fun-factor back into the trucking genre.

Previously scheduled to launch on September 14, then delayed until September 30, SOEDESCO has come to the decision to release Truck Driver's upcoming DLC 'Heading North' to a later date.

As a result of the recent update v1.33, the game currently faces technical issues, which has resulted to the DLC being moved to a later date so that SOEDESCO can continue to fix the current issues.

"Dear Truckers,

Originally, the DLC 'Heading North' was supposed to launch on September 14th. Due to the DLC itself not being fully polished, we postponed its launch to September 30th.

While this date is nearing, another unexpected technical issues due to update v.133 is causing us to postpone it. As soon as these merging issues are resolved, we can set a new date, but since we don't want to postpone it yet again, we do not have a firm date at the moment.

Once again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience. We have come to the decision to release the DLC to a later date so we can deliver the best gaming experience to everyone. This was, and always will be, our mission - and we are committed to keeping our word.

We want to truly thank all of you for your patience and constant support. Rest assured, our team will continue to work hard and focus on fixing these issues.

The Heading North DLC will feature a new map called Mangefjell, a lush scenic island with Nordic inspired landscape. The new map teaser reveals some of the locations in this upcoming DLC and more teasers will be released in the near future. To play ‘Heading North’, players would need to have the base game. 

The map teaser shows that Mangefjell will showcase locations such as new towns, roundabouts, a harbor and geographical sceneries such as a field of geysers and an area of henges.
