New Rogue: Glimpse

Dropping into the battle zone is Glimpse, the newest Rogue to join Rogue Company in the fight against Jackal. Glimpse is the result of a dangerous genetic engineering program trying to develop a super-assassin.

Where she once used her stolen cloaking tech to escape her creators, she now employs it to search for them. After escaping the program with cloaking tech, Glimpse vows to grant these shadowy foes the same destruction they had planned for her.

  • Weapons: Assault Rifles (ARs) and SMGs
  • Starting Weapons: Nightshade AR and Knight SMG
  • Secondary: P12K Pistol
  • Melee: Kukri
  • Gadget (New): Pop Smoke Grenade - New variant of smoke grenade. When thrown, the Pop Smoke Grenade will erupt in smoke immediately upon making contact with a surface. Ideal for placing smokescreens quickly and/or in places you normally couldn’t; Semtex Grenades.

Abilities:

  • Camouflage - Activate your suit’s camouflage and become much harder to see, for as long as your energy supply lasts. Moving faster and/or taking damage makes you easier to see. Glimpse’s Camouflage has 3 levels of invisibility based on how fast she moves.

Perks:

  • Nimble Hands
  • Hunter
  • Padded Steps
  • Stalker
  • Life Drain
  • Tracker Rounds

Glimpse is the final rogue of Year 1, coming next week to Xbox. If you own the Year 1 Pass, you already own Glimpse, so don’t forget to log in and try her out!

Project Saint

This final update of Year 1 will also officially kick off Project Saint, a new initiative focusing on quality-of-life improvements and new play experiences in Rogue Company.

You’ve seen the first steps of this in our Season 4: Umbra Update, with the introduction of an all-new matchmaker for better quality games and the release of the Battle Zone game mode. First Watch Games plans to continue down this path, making Rogue Company better with every update. The team is already working on features like Human Backfill to replace leavers, and a rework to the Interaction system – no more repairing your armor when you want to pick up a teammate!

New Map: Meltdown

In the heart of the arctic tundra lies volcanic destruction - welcome to Meltdown.

Glimpse’s experience with secretive facilities conducting dubious experiments comes at the perfect time: An AI research lab has managed to get its self-destruct sequence tied to the eruption of Earth’s dormant volcanoes, and Jackal just started the countdown.

Meltdown is a top-secret research and development facility built around an experimental geothermal power plant that has developed the first true Artificial Intelligence. Rogue Company has been deployed to stop it from self-destruction and save the trapped scientists inside. Get ready to dive in & Play Meltdown, for FREE, in the first update of Year Two!

This hot spot is the site of Rogue Company’s newest map, Meltdown, coming with the Year 2: Season 1 update in February. Dive in, prevent global catastrophe, and teach some mad scientists not to plug a machine god into the world’s lava.

Rogue Company is available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam / Epic Games Store).
