Ghostrunner is set in a world which is a unique, grim blend of cyberpunk and post-apo genres.

After a cataclysmic event, the remnants of humanity dwell within Dharma Tower, a megastructure constructed as a temporary shelter. A century of conflict led to a brutal division of Dharma — the lower the floor, the lower the resident’s status. The enigmatic Keymaster maintains this imposed caste system, but the people have had enough. Ascend the tower as a Ghostrunner capable of blistering speed and deadly precision, and learn the truth behind the Keymaster’s reign.

Join the resistance known as the Climbers on their mission to cut through the Keymaster’s regime. Death awaits on each level of the tower, from the derelict industrial machinery of the Base to the sickening sheen of the Summit. Dodge oncoming bullets by dashing and wall-running, then slice through enemies with a single cut. Cybernetic implants push the limit even further with bullet-timelike mechanics to keep the cyber-warrior out of harm’s way.

You are a cyber-warrior, a living weapon, the only one capable of fighting both in the physical world and in cyberspace. Lost and hunted, thrown into the middle of the conflict, you must use this bond with technology to ascend the tower.

High mobility of the main character, one-hit-one-kill, and bullet-time mechanics are the bases of the gameplay, which focuses on fast-paced, high-adrenaline combat.

To celebrate, 505 Games, alongside developers and partners One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks are hosting a celebratory stream event on Nov 3rd, at 10 am PST featuring developer commentary, details on the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition occurring on November 13, 2022, plus one or TWO surprises. 

During the stream, One More Level CEO Szymon Bryła and VP/Game Director Radosław Ratusznik will talk about the success of the first game, plus share a teaser about the hotly anticipated sequel. The event will also highlight community fan art, cosplay, and gameplay clips from talented speedrunners.

Speedrunners will also learn more about the upcoming Legendary Ghostrunner Competition. Since March of this year, top players have qualified for the LGC by showing off their skills in Wave Mode and on November 13th from 9AM - 3PM PDT, the ultimate winner will be declared. The winner will have their likeness featured in Ghostrunner 2 as well as walking away with a custom replica Ghostrunner katana.
