Since launching PlayStation Plus in 2010, SIE has been at the forefront of innovation with game subscription services. With the new PlayStation Plus service, PlayStation Now has transitioned into the new PlayStation Plus offering and will no longer be available as a standalone service. PlayStation Now customers will migrate over to PlayStation Plus Premium with no increase to their current subscription fees at launch.
The new Extra and Premium tiers represent a major evolution for PlayStation Plus. With these tiers, our key focus is to ensure that the hundreds of games we offer will include the best quality content that sets us apart.
The new PlayStation Plus game catalog includes titles from dozens of talented studios across the globe, including PlayStation Studios developers such as Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch, and third-party partners such as Rockstar Games, Square Enix, WB Games and more. The hundreds of games available in the PlayStation Plus games catalog will continue to refresh and evolve over time, so there is always something new for gamers to play.
Some of the classic games coming to PlayStation Plus will show improved frame rates and higher quality resolution than its original launch versions. Additionally, select games from the original PlayStation and PSP generation will include a new user experience with menus that allow players to save their game at any time, or even rewind the game to replay a specific section.
Battle other gods in mythical brawls in Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, which launches directly into PlayStation Plus. Take on galaxy-saving quests and make tough decisions in Mass Effect Legendary Edition and venture through a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable in Biomutant.
These titles will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members to add to their game library from Tuesday December 6 until Monday January 2. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog lineup for December will be announced later this month.
Let’s take a closer look at each of the Monthly Games.
