The Last Oricru is an action-RPG with a strong emphasis on dynamic storytelling and player choice. Waking up in the living and breathing sci-fi/medieval world of Wardenia, players find themselves in the middle of a massive civil war over supremacy on the partly terraformed planet , isolated from outer space by a protective barrier.

Intense combat, massive battles and a dark conspiracy overshadow the once peaceful world. Choose your own path, side with the different factions and influence the outcome of the war in this choice-driven experience. The Last Oricru is designed as both a single-player and a local co-op experience.

The Last Oricru transports players to the wonderful sci-fi/medieval world of Wardenia. Players take on the role of Silver, a man who crash-landed years ago on this mysterious planet, just to be suddenly waken up from his cryochamber. The mystery of Silver’s role in the story will unfold as players begin to learn more about him as they journey through Wardenia with him. 

The Last Oricru PC demo is now available to download during the Steam Next Festival event from Feb. 21 until Feb. 28, giving players will be able to get their first taste of the action-RPG experience of The Last Oricru.

The free PC demo contains the first two areas of the game and will feature multiple plot-affecting decisions, along with the ability to try the game's two-player split-screen co-op feature.

The Last Oricru - Co-op

One of the most asked about features of The Last Oricru is two-player co-op. In response, GoldKnights has prepared a special installment in their developer diary series to provide a first look and feature details on both the local couch co-op (split-screen), and the online co-op. The oricru's worst enemies don't fight with swords and axes, but with words. In this cruel world, enemies try to gain the players trust for the sake of their own interest; it's up to you to decide what is morally acceptable to achieve your goals and detect who is a friend or a foe.

In The Last Oricru, choices matter. Players will be able to directly influence the outcome of the game by their decisions and actions. You will experience hundreds of intense fights in a brutal medieval meets sci-fi world, where every decision has its consequences. The Last Oricru will be available as both physical and digital editions on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2022.
