Endzone: A World Apart challenges players to prove themselves as a worthy leader and survive in a hostile environment where the most dangerous foes are the unforgiving climate and catastrophic weather events. 

Endzone: A World Apart follows a group of refugees who, more than a century after a devastating worldwide nuclear powerplant terrorist attack, are leaving their underground bunkers and rebuilding society on the surface. After 150 years dwelling underground in bunkers called ‘endzones,” Earth’s surface seems like a breath of fresh air, though that couldn’t be any further from the truth! Players will face the likes of toxic rain, dangerously radioactive environments, raging sandstorms, and a merciless climate.

While spearheading the rise of humanity, men, women, and children will need protection from threats of all kinds, and there’s no telling what each new day will bring on the forsaken planet from which they’ve emerged. 

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studios announced that Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 on May 19, 2022 for £44.59 / €49.99, and includes the base game as well as the first DLC chapter titled “Prosperity.”

“While it’s been a long-time desire for us to bring Endzone to console platforms, the UI overhaul required to adapt such a deeply immense strategy game is nothing short of a challenge,” said  Stephan Wirth, Co-Founder and Experience Lead, Gentlymad Studios. “We’re so excited to share this lovingly created game with new audiences come May, and we sincerely hope players enjoy the experience we’ve crafted for consoles.” 

The console version, Survivor Edition, will introduce players to the world of Endzone, where they’ll be responsible for the last remaining settlement of humans who’ve emerged to the Earth’s surface following 150 years in underground bunkers to escape global destruction via nuclear holocaust.

Assemble has partnered with the environmental activist organization One Tree Planted for Endzone’s Save the World Edition, which means for every copy sold, the company plants an actual tree in damaged forests around the globe. To date, more than 40,300 trees have been planted around the globe as a result of the partnership!
