Play as Lumote a squishy bio-luminescent creature on a quest to overthrow the Mastermote. Take possession of the Motes and use their abilities to solve a world of puzzles.

Lumote is a game about two opposing powers. Blue power controlled by Lumote and red power controlled by the Mastermote. You play as Lumote in this 3D puzzle platformer with only the ability to jump and possess. Possession allows you to take control of the world's inhabitants, the Motes, and use their abilities. Depending on who's energy controls a Mote their behavior will either help or hinder Lumote to travel below and take control from the Mastermote.

The world of Lumote is broken into three biomes you will need to gain control of all the towers in a biome before you can descend to the next one. Each tower marks the completion and mastery of a mechanic, and the start of new challenges for you to explore. They will also contain pictographic blocks that will tell the story of the world of the Motes.

Originally planned for March 24th, publisher Wired Productions and developer Luminawesome Games announced that Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles will now launch on April 21, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, with Lumote also heading to Google Stadia in the not too distant future.

The additional development time allows for final polishing ensuring the game is super squishy and extra bioluminescent at launch.

When the shift causes the Great Depths to turn red, the squishy hero, Lumote, embarks on an epic odyssey to return the world to blue. Lumote must possess, jump, and think its way through a world of puzzles. To aid in the quest, Lumote’s ability to possess Motes will help reach areas not normally accessible.

For every puzzle Lumote completes opening flower gates, it is one step closer to finding Mastermote!

Available via the Wired Productions Store and select retailers, each limited physical release copy of Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles on the Nintendo Switch (€29.99 / $19.99 / $24.99) and PS4 (€19.99 / $19.99 / £15.99) will include a double sided folded poster, reverse inlay, a unique set of stickers featuring the bioluminescent hero, plus a digital download for the Lumote EP, and if that wasn’t enough, instructions to crochet your very own Lumote.

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam / Epic Games / GOG) on April 21, 2022, followed by Google Stadia in the not too distant future.
