It's time to rise on every front.
Call of Duty League Resurgence (CDLR) is a North American online open competition taking place on Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone. Did someone say “open”? Yes, yes we did. CDLR kicks off with a two-day in-game playlist and culminates in a face-off against Call of Duty League organizations in a $100,000 Final live on the CDL YouTube channel
The In-Game Opening stage runs from April 5th through April 6th from 3pm-6pm PST each day. Registration is open March 23rd at 9AM PST through April 7th at 3PM PST.
In order to be eligible to progress beyond the in-game Open Stage, you must be located in North America, over 18 years of age, able to stream your gameplay on YouTube, and register your team on GameBattles by the registration deadline. Other eligibility restrictions apply. To view Call of Duty League Resurgence rules click here
HOW IT WORKS
01 - IN-GAME OPEN STAGE
The open competition kicks off with the Call of Duty League: Resurgence Quads playlist in Call of Duty: Warzone. This public playlist will go live April 5th and 6th from 3pm-6pm PST each day. Be sure to register your team on GameBattles before the deadline of April 7th at 3pm PST in order to be considered for qualification into the next stages of the CDLR.
Competitors will drop in and rack up as many points as possible based on the scoring system above. Players will be scored based on their 10 best performances during the open playlist. Team scores will consist of the total of their 4 players’ scores. The top 40 teams will move to the Qualification Stage. Competitors may play with whomever they want during the in-game playlist, but in order to advance we look at your total team score with the teammates you select on GameBattles.
Thinking about giving yourself or your teammates an unfair advantage? Don’t. All accounts will be checked to ensure they are in good standing before advancing in the competition.
02 - QUALIFICATION STAGE
The Top 40 teams from the In-Game Open Stage who registered on GameBattles and meet all eligibility requirements will advance to the Qualification Stage.
The Qualification Stage consists of two rounds. In Round 1, the 40 teams will be placed into 4 groups of 10 teams. Each group will battle through 4 maps. The top 5 teams from each group will advance to Round 2, which is made up of 2 groups of 10 teams. Battling again through a 4 map series, the top 4 teams from each group will advance to the Main Stage to face Call of Duty League organizations.
Scoring remains the same with aggregate points by team across 4 maps.
03 - Main Stage
The final 8 open teams will join the 12 Call of Duty League organizations in the online Main Stage, kicking off with two Semifinals of 10 teams. Each Semifinal will consist of 4 open teams and 6 randomly assigned Call of Duty League organizations playing a 4 map series.
The top 5 teams in each Semifinal will advance to the Finals, where 10 teams will battle across 6 maps for their share of the $100,000 prize pool. It’s time to see who truly rules Rebirth Island.
