In January, Hi-Rez held the first Invitational LAN tournament. Now and for the rest of 2022 things speed up with three full series of tournaments open to everyone, the Rogue Company Championship Series (RCCS). Starting tomorrow, it will span over the entire year, featuring dozens of teams, weekly cash prizes, and three LAN events.

The action is split into three distinct competitions: the Spring Series, the Summer Series, and the Fall Series. Each is set to culminate in a LAN event hosted in the Hi-Rez Productions studio in Atlanta, GA – the headquarters of Rogue Company. The RCCS is held in partnership with grassroots tournament organizers and active community members.

"The community has expressed a lot of continued interest in esports since we ran the Rogue Company Showdown Invitational LAN in January, and we're thrilled to bring back our competitive circuit for another year. We're working with some of our most prolific community organizers to make the RCCS happen. They have been essential in making sure that the competitive experience we offer aligns with the needs and wants of our prospective esports community,” said Hi-Rez Esports Brand Manager, Auverin Morrow.

Right now, players can register for the RCCS Spring Series and its first online Qualifier is happening tomorrow on April 23!

Teams can apply on theRCCS Spring Series Discord for this Qualifier and for the next three ones, taking place on May 1st, May 7, and May 14. On June 3-5, the RCCS Spring Series LAN will feature the finals, crowning the first Series champions of 2022. Applications are open to all players regardless of regions and platforms provided they are able to attend the LAN event.

As Rogue Company features multiple modes for teams of different sizes, organizers consulted players to help them decide on the format for the RCCS Spring Series. For the first time, a 3v3 Demolition gameplay has been picked.

“The Spring Demolition Series LAN will also mark the first Rogue Company tournament run entirely by our internal Hi-Rez Productions team,” says Auverin Morrow. “In early June we'll be welcoming eight teams to our esports studio in Alpharetta, GA. They'll be able to play in a competition-ready environment complete with soundproof player booths and top-of-the-line PCs. So far we're seeing a lot of positive feedback, and we're really looking forward to seeing how the Series engages our competitive player base – especially given that the format is 3v3, which is a first for the Rogue Company esports community.”

The RCCS will partner with well-known community organizers to offer a series of tournaments, each of which will culminate in a LAN event hosted at the Hi-Rez Productions studio in Atlanta, GA.

Here’s the full season roadmap for the RCCS in 2022. Please note that some dates may change slightly pending any major COVID-related travel restrictions or etc.

  • April 23 – May 15: Spring Demolition Series (3v3)

  • June 25 – July 30: Summer Series (Format TBD)
