Hellpoint is an intense, dark sci-fi RPG set on a derelict space station orbiting an ominous supermassive black hole. Taking inspiration from games like Dark Souls and Dead Space and movies like Event Horizon and Hellraiser, Hellpoint is doubling down on co-op multiplayer (with both split-screen and online support) while immersing players in a twisted narrative involving Cosmic Gods, quantum physics, and extinct space civilizations.

The game is set in the aftermath of a massive quantum cataclysm called the Merge. You wake up on board the Irid Novo space station, a beacon of galactic cooperation and scientific exploration gone horribly wrong. What happens next will be solely determined by your choices.

Publisher tinyBuild and developers Cradle Games announced that Hellpoint will be making the leap to next-gen consoles (Xbox Series & PlayStation 5) on July 12th, accompanied by the chilling, thrilling new DLC adventure, Blue Sun.

For the first time outside of a high-end PC, players will be able to take in the sights and sounds of the cursed space station of Irid Novo in pin-sharp 4k, running at a silky smooth 60fps on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. Loading times are also drastically decreased.

Launching alongside the next-gen update is the first DLC expansion for Hellpoint - Blue Sun. In this new adventure, the Spawn will delve into strange, never-before-seen locations within Irid Novo, behold the influence of the cosmic gods and discover the true cause of the Merge cataclysm.

Currently available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC, Hellpoint is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 12, 2022.
