Expeditions: The Pitt arrives in September 2022 and introduces a whole new way to play Fallout 76.

Accessed by a new hub in Whitespring, players will venture outside of Appalachia for the first time in the game. This update introduces repeatable off-site Missions where players will earn new rewards, meet new NPCs with quests and dialogue trees, and reintroduces the Trogs, an enemy first seen in Fallout 3‘s The Pitt.

For the first time since Fallout 3, players are invited to journey back to post-war Pittsburg - now a grim industrial wasteland crippled by conflict and awash with radiation.

Expeditions: The Pitt introduces a new storyline centered around two warring factions: the blue-collar freedom fighters of the Union, and the power-hungry raider faction of the Fanatics. Fight for the Union to help reclaim their home. Meet its eccentric and mechanically skilled leaders, learn about the uneasy ties that bind them, and uncover how the toxic wasteland of The Pitt is driving its inhabitants to madness.

Gain favor with the Union to earn powerful new weapons and armor crafted by Union mechanics. Conquer Expeditions to earn Stamps, a new currency exchangeable for powerful and rare Expedition-themed rewards.

Expeditions offer repeatable Missions for any player to go on, netting rewards like XP, loot and even legendary items! While anyone can join an Expedition, things can get pretty rough-‘n’-tumble in The Pitt, so we recommend at least achieving Level 50 or higher for the best experience.

This update will also include several tweaks and enhancements to the game, including adjusted gear for brand-new Dwellers stepping out of the Vault for the first time, making this update excellent for players old and new itching to dive into the game.
