'Knockout City' Season 7: Mutant Mutiny Begins Next Week, Will Add Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles And More - Screens & Trailer

Knockout City is an action-packed team-based multiplayer game that brings skill, depth and style to the game of dodgeball, and transforms it into dodgeBRAWL.

In Knockout City, intense battles are a way of life and players will need to master the art of throwing, catching, passing and dodging in a joyful, yet highly competitive experience that will smack them in the face with surprises.

Whether it's 3v3, 4v4 or free-for-all quick matches in Street Play, competitively ranked games in League Play or a hosted experience in a Private Match, the fight to take down rival Crews takes many forms. In Knockout City, players start every match on a level playing field and need to rely on skill to dominate the competition. A solid Crew is also the difference between dishing out punishment and taking it. The game is easy to pick up and play, but practice is key to mastering positioning, timing and teamwork for dodgeBRAWL dominance.

And of course once players master the moves, they’ll want to be seen with their own unique look. Knockout City's robust customization options – from appearance, gear, attitude, body type and hairstyle to a custom glider, KO effects and taunts – will have players brawling in style. It’s not just about the player but also their Crew, and with up to 32 friends across platforms, players can customize their Crew name, logo, banner and even pick a custom Crew vehicle to ride into battle.

At launch, Knockout City will deliver a full multiplayer package with five multiplayer maps, one interactive environment where players and their Crew can practice, six ball types, full character customization, cross-play, cross-progression, Street Play with five starting playlists, League Play, Private Match, and the complete Street Rank Progression with hundreds of cosmetic items. Beyond this huge value at launch, Knockout City will also bring a ton of new content through seasons at no additional charge, where each season can include new maps, modes, balls, limited time events and more.

Dodgebrawlers, get ready for a totally radical season!

On August 30, a new kind of Brawler will emerge from deep under the streets of Knockout City – The Mutants! Join the Mutant crew – Neon, Susan, Ratfink and Goober – as they surface to fight for their place in Knockout City Season 7: Mutant Mutiny. Fed up with being outcasts, the Mutants are showing the world that they belong above ground with the rest of the Brawlers, but they aren’t doing this alone, the crew has a little help from the most fearsome fighting team around – The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello will be available as characters when Mutant Mutiny launches, allowing players to become their favorite Turtle in any dodgebrawl match. Each Turtle comes with their own unique intro pose – but that’s not all, Knockout City’s newest season is bringing a ton of new content, including a Knockout City x TMNT crossover event, a new Premium Brawl Pass featuring TMNT rewards, a new map, new Hideout customization and much more.

New content coming to Knockout City Season 7 includes:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle - Brawlers will be able to purchase the legendary limited-time bundle, which includes all four Turtles along with their unique intro poses, on the digital storefront for $19.99. The TMNT Bundle will not be available to purchase with Holobux.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Event - The Turtle content doesn’t end there – there will also be a tubular in-game event dedicated to Leo, Raph, Mikey and Donnie in weeks 4 and 5 of Mutant Mutiny, with lots of TMNT cosmetics to earn just by playing!
  • New Premium Edition Brawl Pass - There are plenty of TMNT-themed surprises in the Premium Edition of the Brawl Pass, which can be earned through leveling up and completing Brawl Pass contracts. With the Premium Edition Brawl Pass, players will have access to more Contracts for speedy completion and earn a plethora of stylish items, including the outfit of Channel 6 News’ one and only April O’Neil, and Shredder’s Mask!
  • New Map and Events - Mutant Mutiny will have a brand-new arena to brawl in: the Sludge Works. This offshore industrial dumping ground has plenty of high and low spots to break line-of-sight and stage an attack, but the battlefield is constantly changing! The stage will fill periodically with goopy sludge, closing off some routes and leaving brawlers more exposed. An alert will signify when it’s time to drain the Sludge Works and the entire mass of sludge will drop in an instant. The Season Launch Event will kick off with a Showdown at the Sludge Works along with a map-centric Playlist.
  • Additional New Content - Players will also have access to bonus Brawler spots, a new style of crew vehicle, new Hideout customization, a new energy drink, new Jukebox music tracks and more.
  • Season 7 Roadmap - There’s so much coming to Knockout City this season! Check out the roadmap below for Mutant Mutiny’s 13-week season, which kicks off with the Mutant Mutiny launch event and leads into the ultimate mutant mash-up with KO City x TMNT, followed by a frighteningly fun Holo-Ween 2022 and Containment Breach Event, concluding with Midnight Madness!

With cross-play and cross-progression, up to 32 friends can team up across platforms to form Crews, and even switch between platforms with progress intact, to take down rival Crews in the name of dodgeball dominance.

Knockout City is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (Origin and Steam), as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through forward compatibility with graphical and performance enhancements.
