Call of the Sea is an otherworldly story-driven, first-person puzzle/adventure game.

An otherworldly tale of mystery and self-discovery set in the 1930s, Call of the Sea is a love letter to the adventure game genre that follows Norah, a woman who has crossed an ocean in a desperate search of her husband, who has gone missing on an expedition in the isolated reaches of an uncharted island paradise in the South Pacific.

During your journey in Call of the Sea you will discover remnants of a lost civilization, unlock puzzles and occult secrets while searching for clues about what fate has befallen your husband’s ill-fated expedition.

But in the course of your search you will also begin to realize that things are not all as they first seem on this strange island. On occasions, reality will suddenly become distorted and surreal.

Raw Fury and Out of the Blue Games announced that Call of the Sea is officially being developed for virtual reality and will be released for the Meta Quest 2 next year and will have voice-over acting available in English, French, and Spanish.

Carefully redesigned for virtual reality, Call of the Sea VR will immerse you in beautifully crafted environments. Solve clever first-person puzzles while discovering a story-driven adventure full of love, suspense, and surreal surprises.

Accompanying the announcement of its VR version, the story-driven puzzle adventure has also been selected as part of the Raindance Festival, (26 Oct - 26 Nov, 2022) which is celebrating all independent XR creators, game designers, virtual world builders, and performers with the festival’s vanguard Raindance Immersive program.
