The King Of Fighters XV is the latest installment in the fighting franchise, featuring a huge roster of fighters, and in addition to numerous popular, returning KOF characters.The King of Fighters series is back six years after the release of KOF XIV with a great sequel that will undoubtedly live up to the fighting legacy the franchise has carried since its first release in 1994.
The King Of Fighters XV continues the KOF series’ legacy with its iconic 3-on-3 team battles.
Different teams have different stories and endings.
SNK announced that The King Of Fighters XV will receive its first Season 2 DLC character Shingo Yabuki on January 17, 2023, along-side a character refinement patch for the entire roster.
Shingo Yabuki
Shingo is a young man who became empassioned by Kyo Kusanagi’s strength and all but forced him to become his martial arts master. For Kyo, however, he looks at Shingo as his passive assistant, and treats him as such. Recently, Shingo has been gaining Kyo’s approval and seems to be making steady progress as a fighter, albeit little by little. His adoscelent approach to life gives him a personality liked by many.
Kim, Sylvie, and Najd are all coming as Season 2 DLC Characters!
Kim Kaphwan will be joining KOF XV in Spring of 2023, while Sylvie Paula Paula and Najd will be joining in the summer along-side two other unannounced characters. A special Fighter Pass will also be available to purchase, which includes all six DLC characters for Season 2, including Shingo Yabuki! Please look forward to how KOF XV will continue to evolve!
Roster-wide Character Refinements are coming on Jan 17th!
To coincide with the start of Season 2, an update will added to refine all the characters in the roster. Please experience the new KOF XV with these special adjustments!
Free inclusion of staff roll songs from past KOFs come to DJ STATION!
On January 17, 15 staff roll songs from previous mainline KOF titles will be added free of charge to KOF XV’s DJ STATION, which allows players to customize the BGM during their matches with their favorite songs. More songs will be added in the future, so please look forward to it!
The highly anticipated crossplay function, will come to KOF XV sometime during Spring 2023.
