The year is 1917. You are major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic, drafted back and thrown into the nightmare of World War I. Understaffed and undersupplied, you are the last bastion of hope for countless soldiers at the French Front.

The game represents the new genre of society survival, which consists of such games as Frostpunk and This War of Mine.

Treat horrible war injuries as the commander of a field hospital. Build a facility to heal them while the artillery shells explode ear-splittingly close. Use real WW1 equipment and see how your tools and methods evolve. Your choices will make a lasting impact.

Build a micro-community of life-savers and survivors. Kindle hope in your staff and soldiers. Bring a speck of normalcy by inspiring periods of ceasefire. Play a war-themed game that celebrates life, not death.

Originally planned for August 31st, delayed until October 26th, NACON and Brave Lamb Studio announced a new release period for War Hospital, now available from early 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

You have been following our news for a long time and you know that we are committed to making a truly unique game. As the aim of the game is to save people rather than kill them, War Hospital offers a different perspective from other war strategy games. We want to make the game as deep and realistic as possible while respecting the subject it deals with. This is why War Hospital features a range of game mechanics, including management, strategy and role play. These different systems are complex, and we require more development time than previously thought to find the right balance. 

To achieve our authenticity and quality goals, we have decided to extend our development time and push back the release to early 2024. These additional months will allow us to refine details, balance the game and fix more bugs so that you have a more polished game.
