In Fortnite, players and their friends lead a group of Heroes to reclaim and rebuild a homeland that has been left empty by a mysterious darkness only known as “the Storm.”
Players will band together online to explore the world for resources, build extravagant forts, find or build insane weapons and traps as they protect their towns from the strange monsters that emerge during the Storm.

Epic Games unveiled three brand new experiences coming to Fortnite: Rocket Racing; Fortnite Festival; and LEGO Fortnite, which is built in partnership with The LEGO Group.
These new live-service games will launch in Fortnite later this week and be available globally to play for free.
LEGO Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite is the ultimate survival crafting LEGO adventure. It introduces vast, open worlds where the magic of LEGO building and Fortnite collide. Designed for people of all ages to enjoy together, the game will encourage creativity, experimentation and collaboration through play.
LEGO Fortnite is the first digital play experience from the long term partnership between Epic and The LEGO Group, and will be available December 7, 2023 with an E10+ rating.

Rocket Racing
Rocket Racing is a supersonic arcade racer where players drift, fly, and boost with friends through an ever-growing selection of tracks.
Rocket Racing is developed by Psyonix, the visionary team behind Rocket League, and will be available to play on December 8, 2023 in Fortnite with an E rating.
Fortnite Festival
Fortnite Festival is a new music game where players can play in a band with friends or perform solo on stage with hit music by their favorite artists. Built by Harmonix, the studio behind the iconic music game Rock Band, Festival marks the beginning of music gaming in Fortnite.
The Weeknd will kick off Fortnite Festival Season 1 as the game’s first Music Icon when the game goes live December 9, 2023 with a Teen rating.
The Big Bang
Something big’s about to happen! Jump into The Big Bang — Fortnite’s next live event — on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET! This event marks a new beginning for Fortnite.
HOW TO JOIN THE EVENT
- The Big Bang is a Fortnite event starting Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 PM ET. The experience will be available in the Battle Royale tile in Discover 30 minutes prior, so you can jump in before the event starts to gear up with any of your cosmetics.
- Invite your friends: the event supports parties of up to four players!
Won’t be near a gaming device during the event? The Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna services let you play Fortnite via cloud streaming on your computer or mobile device for free and without a download! Learn how to access any of these options here.
FORTNITE EXPERIENCES: AVAILABILITY AND DOWNTIME
To prepare for The Big Bang, Fortnite experiences made by Epic will be disabled starting 12 PM ET on December 2. Creator-made experiences will remain enabled until downtime for Fortnite v28.00 starts at 11:30 PM ET.
