In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!, players will explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. In addition, in-game boards will be themed around memorable locations from the anime such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. Nezuko Kamado will also frequently appear in-game as a support character. 

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! will feature a variety of minigames for players to take on as they explore the game board. As the time of day in-game changes from day to night, new events will unfold across the board as players will be able to meet familiar faces and work together to take down dangerous demons lurking in the night. 

Choose from a cast of fan-favorite characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and 9 Hashiras before engaging in fun, exciting multiplayer action for up to 4 players, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also join in on the fun as a support character. Take on a variety of thrilling mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night, and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer among the rest!

SEGA is excited to announce Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! will launch for Nintendo Switch across the Americas and Europe on April 26, 2024.

Two New Boards Revealed!

Alongside this announcement, two new boards are being revealed today for the game – “Board Two” featuring Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo, “Board Three” featuring the Mugen Train. Minigames inspired by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and battles against demons lurking on each of these stages await!

• Team Memory Matching – A 2v2 team battle! Work together in a team to match cards with the same image.
• Knock 'Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay – Trade blows with your opponent and try to push them out of the zone!

• DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA TURNS INTO A BOARD GAME: The iconic landmarks from the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, will appear as boards! Roll the dice to advance through the squares! Each board has a daytime and nighttime period. During the day, you will play events and mini-games to prepare for the night, where you will be searching for demons to defeat - aim to become a great Demon Slayer swordsman!
• TAKE CONTROL OF ICONIC CHARACTERS: Players can choose from their favorite characters including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the nine Hashira! Nezuko, who cannot be active during the day, appears as a support character to help the players throughout the game!
• FIGHT DEMONS BY WAVING THE JOY-CON™: In mini-games where you fight demons such as the Hand Demon, you will be able to swing the Joy-Con™ like the Nichirin Sword to attack!
