Hydrofoil Generation is a realistic sailing and foiling simulator from Indie developer Jaxx Vane Studio. A passion project created by Stefano "kunos" Casillo co-founder of Kunos Simulazioni, the globally acclaimed developer behind the racing simulation masterpiece Assetto Corsa.

An exciting and accurate first-person simulation of multiplayer "in-shore" regattas, Hydrofoil Generation is a demanding simulator that will push your skills and passion to the limit.

In Hydrofoil Generation you will sit at the helm of state-of-the-art engineering marvels modeled with unprecedented physical accuracy, sailboats that can "fly" over water to speeds over 50kn. Take control of the course, the sails trim and, most important , the foils. Keep your boat flying as high as possible to maximize speed but not so high to risk coming down with a splash or worse, as capsizing is just around the corner.

Deal with changing winds, different sea conditions, currents and up to 10 opponents in fierce multiplayer races.

“The Early Access version of the game will allow players to participate in events at Den Haag, Hong Kong and Bermuda practicing in single player or joining online multiplayer regattas. Basic rules of sailing will be present together with wind shifts and gusts to make the races always alive and unpredictable. Full race replays make for great showcase of your online races and allow for “after the fact” analysis of race accidents and crucial moments of a regatta. A rich set of driving assists are available to allow for a gradual and gentle introduction to the world of foiling boats even for people without real life experience.”

Hydrofoil Generation is now available through Steam Early Access in early 2023 and will include:

• Jx50: A 50ft modern foiling catamaran capable of speeds of up to 50kn.
• Jx40: A 40ft modern foiling monohull with automatic systems for ride height control.

You will be able to race these boats in several exciting locations such as Den Haag, Hong Kong and Bermuda, with carefully recreated coastlines.
