Players will embark on an epic journey to restore order as Cursa, a mysterious and malevolent entity, twists the planets with its evil influence.

Mixing turn-based tactics and real time action, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope’s innovative combat system will have players use their Heroes to dash at enemies, team jump on allies, hide behind covers, or take advantage of their special abilities in order to get the most out of every turn.  With its innovative gameplay, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be a fun tactical adventure for new players and experts of the genre alike.

Determined to consume all the energy in the galaxy, Cursa and its minions are hunting the Sparks, uncanny creatures formed by the fusion of Lumas & Rabbids, and will destroy all who stand in its way. Players will have to locate and save the Sparks to have them join the adventure, opening up new tactical possibilities to help Heroes get the upper hand in battles. In addition to leveling up and customizing their Heroes, players will have the opportunity to pair them with Sparks to unlock additional abilities! They all have a distinct power and personality, ranging from energy shields to powerful elemental attacks.

Ubisoft unveiled that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope's first post-launch content Tower of Doooom is now available on Nintendo Switch.

This time, Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends will enter a mysterious tower and meet its peculiar landlady, Madame Bwahstrella, as she needs them to contain Cursa‘s minions, ascend the Tower and free their old friend Spawny.

In this brand-new game mode focused on combat, players will need to fight their way through procedurally generated battles to reach the top of the Tower. Starting with 4 Heroes and Sparks randomly picked among the main game’s full roster, players will have to build and upgrade their team throughout their expedition, plan strategically and adapt their tactics if they want to triumph against all odds.

In The Tower of Doom, the end is only the beginning, and players who succeed will unlock new expeditions with a strong replay value, increasing difficulty and new cosmetic rewards. Made for both newcomers and tactical enthusiasts, this game mode mixes the tactical gameplay of the main game with an additional layer of strategy.

All downloadable content requires players to own Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and are included in the game’s Season Pass. Tower of Doooom is exclusively available for Season Pass owners, while the two other expansions can be bought separately. The Season Pass is included in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition.

As of today, players can try out Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope for free via a Nintendo eShop Demo. In this demo, they will be able to play the entire prologue of the game and a part of the first planet. During this approximately two hours of gameplay players can explore Beacon Beach, unlock secrets and fight Darkmess-corrupted enemies. To access this demo, players need to connect to the Nintendo eShop and download the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Demo. Once the download is complete, players will be able to launch the demo.
