Second Extinction

Big map. Big dinosaurs. Big guns. Face an ever changing threat level with your friends. Second Extinction is an online co-op FPS with a bite.

The goal is simple: Reclaim Earth.

In Second Extinction you take on hordes of mutated dinosaurs with up to two friends. Solo players beware: Second Extinction is designed with squads in mind. Only the strong will survive.

The goal of Early Access is also simple: Work with our community to make the best game possible.

We want to hear your feedback loud and clear, and we intend for our community to be a vital part of the development process. Even so, there’s plenty to get your teeth (and claws) into from day one: 6 heroes, 12 weapons (with 5 upgrade tiers each) and 6 missions - plus some special side quests - across multiple regions of our big map.

Once Second Extinction and Mordhau, the current free games on the Epic Games Store, have run their course, it will be up to Beyond Blue and Never Alone, which will be gratis starting April 20 until April 27, 2023.

Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is a single-player narrative adventure that takes you deep into our planet’s beating blue heart.

Set in the near future, Beyond Blue explores the mysteries of our ocean through the eyes of Mirai, a deep-sea explorer and scientist. Become a part of a newly-formed research team using groundbreaking technologies to see, hear, and interact with the ocean in a more meaningful way than has ever been attempted.

Never Alone

Experience the epic journey of Nuna and Fox as they search for the source of an eternal blizzard that threatens the survival of everything they have ever known.

Never Alone is an atmospheric puzzle platformer developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people, drawn from a traditional story that has been shared across the generations.

Guide both characters in single-player mode or play cooperatively with a friend as you trek through frozen tundra, leap across treacherous ice floes, swim through underwater caverns and face enemies both strange and familiar.

You'll explore awe-inspiring environments, perform heroic deeds and meet legendary characters from Iñupiaq stories — all narrated by a master storyteller in the spoken Iñupiaq language.

Key Features:

• Play as both Nuna and Fox — Switch between the two companions at any time with one button press, or play side by side in local co-op mode, as you rely on the unique skills of each character to succeed in your quest. Nuna can climb ladders and ropes, move heavy obstacles, and throw her bola at targets to solve puzzles. Fox can fit through small areas that Nuna can't reach, scramble up walls, and jump to great heights.
• NOTE: Local co-op play requires at least one Xbox 360 or equivalent game controller

Mordhau

MORDHAU is a multiplayer medieval slasher. Create your mercenary and fight in brutal battles where you will experience fast paced combat, castle sieges, cavalry charges, and more.

Enter a hectic battlefield of up to 80 players as a mercenary in a fictional, but realistic world, where you will get to experience the brutal and satisfying melee combat that will have you always coming back for more.

• Massive Battles: From small-scale engagements to 80-player all-out war in modes such as Frontline and Invasion.
• Cooperative & offline play: Fight waves of enemies alongside your friends in the cooperative Horde mode, or practice your skills offline against AI.
