Step into the shoes of the Supreme Psion and rain destruction down upon the Blighted who threaten humanity's final bastion. Aim for the top of the leaderboards, and defend Hope’s End.

Inspired by Starcraft II Arcade, Hope's End tasks you with defending humanity's final stronghold against mutated fiends known as the Blighted. Outlast waves of horrific mutants with ruthless elemental abilities and strategically crafted turrets, mines, and barriers. Upgrade abilities and defenses in between runs and become an unstoppable force against the Blighted. When you're ready for an extra challenge, activate various Mutators and skyrocket up the leaderboards.

Communication across Earth has been disrupted. The end came, and with it, the Blighted - horrifying monstrosities mutated from the species that once existed across the planet. Despair did not arrive without hope, however, for psionic abilities appeared among humanity. You are now the last line of defense against the nearly endless waves of Blighted. Defeat the onslaught of monstrous forces and defend the last surviving human settlement: Hope's End.

As the Supreme Psion, harness unique and powerful abilities across seven Specializations to eradicate those who seek humanity’s destruction. Will you express yourself with the incendiary inclinations of Fire? Perhaps the frigid fiendishness of Frost? Or maybe the brilliant bolts of Electricity are most to your liking? Grow in power and become an unstoppable force throughout your runs with customizable upgrades from your Armory. The Blighted are at your doorstep. Annihilate them how you see fit.

The enemy has powerful psions among them as well, and researching their remains can grant you additional abilities. As you defeat the strongest Blighted, you'll gradually unlock bonuses to give you a greater edge over the horde of mutants. If the Blighted seem to not pose much of a threat, increase the challenge through the No Hope Mutators of your choice. Every increased difficulty provided the opportunity for greater reward as you aim for the top score.

Hope's End is now available through Steam Early Access for $5.99, and will remain so for 6-12 months.

“All core features of the game are complete, with seven of the twelve planned Specializations, a set of unique Armory upgrades for every Specialization along with generic upgrades for the Psionic Focus, the Blighted DNA Research tree, No Hope difficulty variants, and unlockable perks based on in-game accomplishments via the Some Hope system. Some aspects of the game's mechanics and gameplay may be in an unstable or unreliable state during this period, however.”

“Outside of overwhelming responses to the contrary, much of the core gameplay of Hope's End will remain the same from Early Access to full launch. We're continuing to work on new Specialization and Blighted Primes which will be included in the game gradually, as well as tighten balance, kill bugs, and improve overall play experience. During Early Access, the leaderboard may be periodically wiped as major bugs are fixed and other major game changes are made.”
