The world may be in ruins, but there’s potential for beauty deep in the overgrowth. Explore your rooftop gardens, gathering resources and building a scenic new home for yourself. Research new technologies to aid yourself, collect an assortment of tool attachments for your multifunctional bionic arm and automate the housekeeping with the help of a swarm of cheery little helper robots.

Of course there’s more to post-apocalyptic life than just chilling in the yard. From the comfort of home, send out drones to explore the ruins, chat with quirky new AI friends and uncover the secrets of what happened to the world. You’ll need every tool at your disposal and all the info you can gather once night falls. Danger lurks in the shadows of this strangely beautiful wasteland.

Featuring both story-driven and more open sandbox modes, I Am Future brings its upbeat vision for the survival sandbox genre to PC on Steam later this year.

As we’re nearing the next big milestone in developing I Am Future, our team has decided that we need just a bit more time to polish the game and add even more cool stuff for you to explore.

Originally planned for May 18th, I Am Future is now scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on August 8, 2023.

These several additional weeks will allow us to ensure our incredible players have the best possible experience while building the ultimate skyscraper rooftop base.

• Turn the abandoned roof into your a big and cozy home: Starting from the scratch on an empty roof, explore the surroundings, find the necessary resources, tools and gadgets. Step by step, build yourself a complicated multi-purpose base for work and for recreation - a custom place that would suit personally you and and your needs!
• Create the necessary gadgets out of ancient home appliance: Old microwaves, rusty cars and antique computers - all will be handy! Carefully disassemble the devices to get the necessary details and put them to use for creating futuristic gadgets according to the blueprints you’ll get you hands on. By the way, have we mentioned that you will get to have a cyborg hand? Upgrade it too!
• Build the automated helpers and turn your buildings into sentient beings: Make some friends so you won’t get too lonely! Upload the AI to your buildings, talk to them, listen to their thoughts, concerns and advices, and develop the relationships! Or build yourself some pet drones - besides everything, they will be useful to automate the routine tasks.
• Go fishing, pick up farming and cooking: The benefits of the collapse of human civilization? There’s now enough time to pick up new hobbies! The roof is very well suited for building a garden, and the surrounding sea is full of tasty fish for the tastiest Mediterranean dishes to cook!
• Protect your base: It seems that the nature has changed significantly after all, and there are new dangers not known to humans before. Build your defense structures and be catious!
• Explore the sunken city and its mysteries: What exactly happened with the civilization and how did you end up on the roof? The answers lay somewhere in the city ruins - would you try to get to the bottom of it?
