Sker Ritual is a co-op wave shooter first and foremost but it will feature in-game challenges, tasks, and some soon-to-be-revealed events, which will reward you with story content (as well as unlockable content). The choice is yours, play solo if you're brave enough or grab up to 4 players to tackle the onslaught of Quiet men together.

Set shortly after the events of Maid of Sker, Sker Ritual takes place in the early-1900s with a little more of a steampunk influence. There is action, adventure, survival horror, mystery, and a little gothic science fiction. Sker Hotel has moved on a little since you last saw it, it's now in the 20th Century and has a few surprises still to come.

The Quiet Ones have returned, only now they seem a little more... undead. Maid of Sker fans might also recognize a new and improved Blazeslinger, Banshee, Mariner and Phantom. These juggernauts are tough to take down and each have a unique set of abilities that will force you to change-up your playstyle, change your location, or enlist the help of your teammates! Old enemies aren't the only ones to curse the lands of Sker, there will be more new faces — even some without faces.

Wales Interactive have released a brand-new trailer to reveal the fourth and final Steam Early Access episode of Sker Ritual — Deadly Lover’s Fortress — ahead of the Episode launch on May 31, 2023.

An extended roadmap will be revealed soon to highlight the Early Access progress with the 1.0 release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release in sight.

In Deadly Lover's Fortress, players will undertake three pivotal missions that pave the way for their confrontation with a three-boss finale featuring Isaac, Abraham and The Stranger, whilst fighting off hordes of Quiet Ones and challenging new Elite Enemies like the hard-hitting hammer knight Balor.

Players must navigate the treacherous surroundings and solve intricate puzzles to collect the Chalice of Blood, delving into the depths of the dungeon, freeing imprisoned Quiet Ones while escorting them to safety. They must embark on an ambitious quest to upgrade The Forge, combining their skills and resources to create a powerful explosive device that enhances the Wonder Sword.

The Wonder Sword is a remarkable weapon (currently exclusive to DLF map) that holds the power to withstand late round hordes. Once restored at The Forge, the Wonder Sword becomes more than just a blade—With each swing, it unleashes deadly metal shards that pierce through enemies, inflicting devastating damage. But the true marvel of the Wonder Sword lies in its upgraded form, where the shards explode upon impact, causing widespread area-of-effect damage and decimating anything in their path.

Episode Four features a brand new Sker Pass with 25 free cosmetic items alongside two optional DLC cosmetics bundles Smuggler’s Fortune and Devil’s Sacrifice featuring new premium masks, animated menu backgrounds, voice lines, player icons and more!

Sker Ritual is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) in 2023.
