Create your suit of armor: pick from gloves, arms, shoulders, chest pieces, legs, boots, helmets, and more. Color each piece to your liking and select a metal tint. Be anything from a viking to a crusader, or even a sharpshooting archer.
Mordhau features a deep and fluid combat system that allows those that master it to turn into an unstoppable force on the battlefield. Mordhau's combat system is designed for fights ranging from duels all the way to large open battles of up to 64 players with castles to be stormed, and fields to be covered in blood.
The world around you will come alive, as players will be able to lead calvary charges, experience castle sieges, and operate equipment such as the ballista. Chain your attacks into combos, punish your opponents with quick counters, push them away with kicks, trick them with feints, grip your polearm closer to the head, use real halfswording techniques -- and much, much more.
Mordhau gives players plenty of creative freedom, as they can create their mercenary, gear, and equipment through endless customization. Smith your sword out of individual pieces: pick from blades, crossguards and grips. Want a mace instead? No problem, pick your head and handle and choose the wood type. There are thousands of possible combinations.
Expect blood and limbs to fly in a frenzied battlefield when medieval melee combat game Mordhau launches on PlayStation and Xbox on July 12th.
With crossplay exclusively available among consoles, all players will have a level playing field to dominate in this 64-player action game.
Console players can look forward to experiencing the same modes available in the PC version, including large-scale battles where they can attack and defend in ‘Invasion,’ fighting for territory in ‘Frontline’, or defending the noble against enemies in ‘Horde’. Console players can also look forward to brawling on smaller maps such as ‘Deathmatch’, ‘Team Deathmatch, and ‘Skirmish’.
