Developer Wikkl Works has launched its climbing and bouldering simulator New Heights into Steam Early Access for $19.99, and will remain so for about a year.

“Currently we are developing two areas: Training Grounds and Belgian Ardennes, containing four locations that can be climbed. It would certainly take about 50+ hours to fully complete every possible route in these four locations alone, but about 12 to 16 hours to progress through them normally, after which you would unlock a new area.”

“The full game will include a lot more (real world) locations to climb, more customization options and a more fleshed out 'career' quest line, possibly voice-acted. We consider adding real-time multiplayer. Depending on popularity / demand, we consider a way for people to import and create their own locations as well. Because we utilize IK and physics, the game will never be fully quirk-less, not even in a released version. But during early access we will develop the climbing system toward both the most smooth and realistic gameplay as possible.”
