The Tropican Ministry for Public Participation and Election Gifts announced a large infrastructure project for Tropico 6 (PC): With the official modding support, in the beta you can bring your own ideas to Tropico and create or change anything from buildings to maps and even gameplay mechanics – or you can download mods created by other players.

As El Presidente puts it: “The modding project is part of our ’Bread and Circuses’ strategy to involve Tropicans more directly in the development of their home country. Because more democracy simulation for the masses means more votes for me!”
