Project Demigod is a physics-based, combat-heavy VR game that transforms the player into the superhero of their dreams.

Mix and match superpowers and weapons to create various power sets - it’s all about personalizing the combat style. Fly, swing, flip, shoot, blast, and smash around an open-world city, fighting physics-based ragdoll enemies of ninjas, robots, gangs, mutants, aliens, and more.

This is only the beginning, with future updates bringing additional powers, enemies, environments, challenges, storylines, events, mod support, and more.

Omnifarious Studios and Fast Travel Games announced that Project Demigod will launch in full on February 1, 2024 on Meta Quest 2, 3, Pro and PC VR via SteamVR for $19.99.

The full release will allow players to become their very own superhero within VR, and will be marked with an update adding key new features. More content will arrive soon after launch. 

The launch will also see the game arrive on the full Meta Quest store, having previously been available in App Lab. As part of the transition, Project Demigod will leave App Lab on Quest on January 25 and will be unavailable to purchase until launch. Anyone that bought the game on App Lab will not need to purchase the game again once it’s live on the Quest store, and can continue playing throughout the next week. The Steam Early Access version will remain available until February 1.

Since launching in Early Access, Project Demigod has sold over 100,000 copies across Meta Quest and Steam.

The full version of Project Demigod arrives with key features including:

Choose from multiple power sets activated on the fly:

• Strength: Use incredible strength to smash through destructibles and toss enemies into the air. Or gain the aerial advantage with Flight and Laser Vision.
• Flames: Fly through the skies and throw fireballs at enemies, or switch to Explosion Mode for rapid bursts.
• Web: Swing through the city, running on walls, and webbing enemies and objects.
• Blaster: Fire bolts of energy, lightning, or anti-gravity.
• Weapons: Utilize swords, shields, kunai, and more to provide an edge in physical combat or infuse them to unlock unique abilities.
• Time Control: Run at Super Speed, Slow Time, and Rewind enemies.
• Stretch: Attack from a distance with stretchy limbs, or expand them and fight with Giant Arms.
• Master the Elements with Fire, Earth, and Water Powers.

Currently available on Meta Quest App Lab and Steam Early Access, Project Demigod is coming to Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and PCVR (Steam) on February 1, 2024
