'Welcome to ParadiZe' Available for Pre-Order, PC Demo Planned for Next Week, Reveals Story - Trailer

by Rainier on Jan. 25, 2024 @ 10:21 a.m. PST

Fight, Hack, and Survive! Alone or with friends, explore a mysterious open-world infested by zombies.

Ever wanted a zombie to help out at home? What’s better than a shuffling undead that defends you, builds your barricades, and one you can leave to fend off their ravenous peers when you need to make a quick getaway… Alone or in multiplayer, try to survive the apocalypse in the open world of Paradize!

In the beautiful land of Paradize, some clever survivors experiment a technology that takes control of the zombies, which have once again, invaded the world…

Paradize is not the most welcoming place, nowhere is anymore, but those who are smart, good shooters, and able to scavenge resources will no doubt make it through, especially if you can catch and hack zombies. Once under your control, they’ll become precious allies, even if they're not so smart and more than a little unstable.

Welcome to ParadiZe proposes survival, combat, multiplayer (up to four players in co-op), all set in an open world in an entirely new take on the zombie genre. You have to be the smartest and the most skilled to dominate the enemy clans and avoid getting devoured. Especially by Miss Daisy, the first-ever zombified elephant recorded in the zombie history books!

Collect materials, craft weapons, and fight for your life. Learn to hack zombies to assist in fighting, protecting, or farming. Welcome to Paradize!

NACON and Eko Software are pleased to announce that Welcome to ParadiZe is now available for digital preorder.

To mark the occasion, the studio is sharing a new trailer featuring Jeff Tusk, one of the main characters in Welcome to ParadiZe.

A playable demo will also be available for free on Steam, at the Steam Next Fest, from 29 January at 09:00 GMT to 12 February 2024. This will enable players to check out the first two hours of this game combining survival, combat, crafting and RPG, all set in a madcap open world.

An off-the-wall story set in a world gone off the rails

In ParadiZe, the zombies do all the dirty work. They take care of the tough jobs and protect the survivors, thanks to the revolutionary hacking helmet technology developed by Tusk Group. As survivors of the apocalypse, the players find themselves in this supposedly idyllic town expecting to lead a life safe from wild zombie attacks. Unfortunately, not everything seems to have gone as planned. On the ground, they have to deal with a bunch of unruly locals, each weirder than the last, zombified fauna and a wide variety of environments, each with their own dangers. The hacking helmet technology will be their best asset in for battling through such a madcap and chaotic scenario.

Pre-order bonuses and a Supporter Edition (PC)/ Zombot Edition (consoles)

When players buy the “Supporter Edition” or “Zombot Edition”, once the final version of Welcome to ParadiZe is released, in addition to the basic game they will be able to access five cosmetic packs to customise their avatar and zombots, as well as an exclusive uniform.

By preordering Welcome to ParadiZe now, players will obtain 48 h early access before the official release on 29 February 2024. This will enable them to check out ParadiZe before anyone else, and get their hands on an exclusive military cosmetic pack for their avatar and their zombots.

Welcome to ParadiZe is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) on February 29, 2024.
